Advanced Reiki Techniques
Level 2 is the key level for Reiki practitioners.
Taught properly, it enables students to experience energy ('qi' or 'ki') on a totally new level.
The Om Reiki Centre uses and developes on original Japanese techniques, enabling students to completely redefine their practice.
In our Melbourne and Daylesford courses you will learn to perform intuitive healings, distance Reiki and powerful healing sessions - as well as work with techniques that will greatly enhance your ability to feel energy flow during meditation.
You will also be given the tools to connect to all of your chakras - something that will transform the way you experience energy in the body. (See below for a more complete list of techniques covered)
Our level 2 courses are all held over two full days, giving you the necessary time and practical experience to understand all techniques taught.
These techniques can then be mastered by taking advantages of our post-course support (just write or call us if you need clarification on any point) and our free 21-Day e-programme.
All information taught is also covered in our detailed and original manual, and you will have the chance to meet other Reiki practitioners and ask further questions at our monthly Melbourne practice nights.
This means that upon completing the course you will have the necessary framework and structure to further develop your practice.

You will understand what you need to practice; in what order you need to practice; and how and what results you can expect if you practice.
Having studied several Reiki different lineages to Master level, Jeremy O'Carroll, the course trainer, is in the ideal position to know not only why traditional Level 2 courses fail to radically improve most student's Reiki; but also what information and structure are needed to get optimum results.
Course Contents
Our Reiki course covers all of the level 2 basics. At its conclusion you will:
- Be attuned to the Level 2 Reiki energy (using the traditional Japanese level 2 attunement)
- Know the Power Symbol and its many uses (from increasing the flow of Reiki energy to cleansing the energy of rooms)
- Know the Mental / Emotional symbol and how it can heal past hurts, improve memory and much more
- Know the distance symbol and how it will enable you to heal people (in a very concrete way) on the other side of the world!
- Learn how to meditate on the symbols
- Learn the mantras associated with the symbols
- Learn all key positions for treating others, as well as important ways in which this differs from treating yourself.
- Understand the dynamics of group Reiki and how best to practice it
Special Content (not generally covered in other courses):
- Learn the traditional Japanese way of using the symbols and mantras
These three mantras (they are quite different from the ones usually given) are so powerful they will boost your Reiki to amazing new levels.
Indeed, just the first mantra alone usually transforms a student's energy flow in less than two weeks (of solid practice).
- Learn the traditional Japanese method for doing distance Reiki.
This technique will enable you to experience distance Reiki in a totally new way as well as enabling you to go more deeply into your regular Reiki practice.
- Learn several unique non-standard hand positions that create a stronger, more balanced energetic connection
These positions show you how to go beyond parallel hand positions (of the kind where your hands are placed side by side) to create unique energetic connections that increase the effectiveness of your treatments.
- Practise several meditation techniques (both Western and Japanese) for strengthening your Reiki and clearing energetic blockages
- Learn how to use the five precepts to get rid of unresolved issues from the past
- Have an understanding of the chakra system and how this can empower your Reiki
- Know how to work intuitively with Reiki and why this is essential for optimum results
- Have practiced several esoteric - yet simple and practical - techniques for experiencing a greater flow of Reiki energy
- Know how to clear energetic blockages and replenish energetically depleted areas.

Course Manual
All participants will receive a detailed and original Level 2 Reiki manual with notes on all key information covered in the course.
Used together with the 21-Day e-programme, the manual will help give you the confidence and skills needed to successfully treat both yourself and others with Reiki.
Post Course Support
Apart from the 21-Day Level 2 e-programme, all students will be able to contact Jeremy directly with any questions regarding their Reiki progress.
Certification
The course certificate is recognised by the ARC (Australia's most important Reiki organization). Students who have completed this course are eligible to become registered Reiki practitioners (at the ARC).

Although we offer a full-refund satisfaction guarantee for those who attend our Level 2 course, we do not offer a refund if you change your mind about our course without attending it. If you give us two weeks' notice, however, we will be happy to alter the date of your course.
