Our Melbourne and Adelaide Reiki courses are for people who work too hard, find it difficult to relax - or simply want to boost their energy levels, improve their meditation and learn to heal.
Easy to learn and simple to put into practice, our method of Reiki lets you tap into a deep and reinvigorating part of yourself. It is an ideal way to heal yourself and others, even if you find traditional meditation, yoga and other such practices a struggle.
The Om Reiki Centre's Traditional Usui Reiki Level 1(see below for more info) & Reiki Level 2 courses are relaxing, transformative, and guaranteed to please. They are held over two full days to ensure you have time to absorb all of the information and techniques that we cover.
All courses are conducted by Jeremy O'Carroll. He has received Master Level training from three different Reiki Masters (including the internationally famous Frans Stiene and William Lee Rand), is a Reiki Master in both Western and Japanese lineages, a much praised teacher, Reiki writer and registered Master Teacher with the ARC, Australia's largest Reiki organization.
His Reiki courses are therefore unique in that they integrate the best features of both Western and Japanese Reiki lineages to provide students with a rare depth of understanding.

Reiki Course Contents:
Our Level 1 course helps students connect to Reiki energy. At its completion, students will:
- Be able to give Reiki treatment to both themselves and others
- Know all basic hand positions + several unique and powerful ones we have created (e.g., our special 'three-hands' technique)
- Have an understanding of the 5 Reiki precepts and why they can strengthen your practice
- Have practised several methods - like breathing into the 'hara' - for increasing the flow of chi and strengthening healing
- Know how to smooth the aura and cleanse the body of energetic impurities
- Know several meditation techniques to help tap into the body's energy system and, as a result, improve the energy flow within it (thus improving overall health)
- Have a basic understanding of the chakra system and how it effects our wellbeing
- Understand the importance of working intuitively with Reiki and how we can develop our intuition in healing
- Have an understanding of the true history of Reiki and how it can free us from dogma, superstition and fear.
The course is held over two days and all participants are welcome to contact Jeremy afterwards to discuss their reiki progress and ask questions.
The Om Reiki Centre is committed to guiding students after Reiki courses and is well aware that this is often an area neglected by many centres.
After the course, students are encouraged to participate in a free 21-day Reiki e-programme. This will help reinforce all they have learnt during Reiki Level 1 and strengthen their connection to the Reiki energy.
Reiki Course Certification
All participants will receive a course certificate from the Om Reiki Centre. This certificate is recognised by the ARC (Australian Reiki Connection) as well as the Australian Association of Reiki Professionals.
Membership of the ARC verifies that Jeremy O'Carroll (the course teacher) has a direct lineage back to the the founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui.
Reiki Course Manual
Participants will also receive a Level 1 Reiki manual with notes on all key information covered in the course.

Reiki Courses Refund Policy
Although we offer a full-refund satisfaction guarantee for those who attend our Level 1 course, we do not offer a refund if you change your mind about our course without attending it. If you give us seven day's notice, however, we will be happy to alter the date of your course.
These measures are necessary due to the small sizes of our classes. Since many are full, holding one place often entails someone else missing out.
